Manage replication with direct APIs
Replication Manager can be visually managed with the described browser interface. However, many data centers will require scripted automation of all replication management and monitoring. Replication Manager provides a full-featured API for the most demanding environments.
Two APIs are available:
Replication objects
Multiple components of a replication environment, such as physical hardware, operating systems, volumes, folders, files, and so forth. as well as database servers, databases, and so forth. are defined by these APIs. Relationships between these objects become your replication model and are implemented through these APIs.
