When the FairCom Edge instance loses its connection to the ThingWorx platform (because of the network, or server-side issues, or any other reason), the FairCom Edge server instance automatically attempts to reconnect.
These reconnection attempts continue until FairCom Edge is able to reconnect or until you shut down the EDGE server. After 3 reconnection attempts, with an interval of 5 seconds between them, the retry logic in the FairCom Edge connector will not reconnect to the ThingWorx platform anymore.
