Support for BTRV applications is provided by replacing the original library of BTRV calls. After setting up FairCom RTG BTRV Edition, your application will use the FairCom library in place of the BTRV library.
To install FairCom RTG BTRV Edition, simply run the .msi installer as you would run any other Windows program (or unzip the .gz file and then untar the resulting .tar file on Unix/Linux systems) and install it using the default folders. The installer will lay down the FairCom RTG BTRV Edition Driver, an assortment of other API drivers, the FairCom RTG Server (discussed in the next section), and a variety of tools and utilities, discussed later in this guide.
