Support for BTRV applications is provided by replacing the original library of BTRV calls. After setting up c-treeRTG BTRV Edition, your application will use the FairCom library in place of the BTRV library.
To install c-treeRTG BTRV Edition, simply run the .msi installer as you would run any other Windows program (or unzip the .gz file and then untar the resulting .tar file on Unix/Linux systems) and install it using the default folders. The installer will lay down the c-treeRTG BTRV Edition Driver, an assortment of other API drivers, the c-treeRTG Server (discussed in the next section), and a variety of tools and utilities, discussed later in this guide.
