When the server configuration file contains the CONSOLE TOOL_TRAY keyword, the FairCom Server starts in the background, displaying a FairCom icon in the Windows tool tray.
This feature is useful when manually running the FairCom Server. The graphical UI makes it easy to see that the server is running and to shut it down. On the downside, you must manually restart the Faircom Server when the computer restarts or automate its restart.
To use this feature, add the following keyword to your server configuration file, ctsrvr.cfg:
CONSOLE TOOL_TRAY
This keyword does nothing when the FairCom Server runs as a Windows service.
