DIAGNOSTICS LOWL_FILE_IO
The DIAGNOSTICS LOWL_FILE_IO server keyword logs low-level system errors into the server status file, CTSTATUS.FCS. Although client applications have access to system errors through sysiocod, it is useful to see these errors logged on the server side. Activating this feature causes a high decrease in performance.
This feature is also available at run time via the ctSETCFG() API call and passing in (setcfgDIAGNOSTICS, "LOWL_FILE_IO")
From the FairCom Server administrator utility, ctadmn, choose option 10, "Change Server Settings" and then option 9, "Change a DIAGNOSTICS option". Then enter LOWL_FILE_IO to enable. Precede with a '~' character to disable.
