-compact

Removes the deleted records from a file.

Certain attributes, such as PAGE_SIZE, are automatically applied on compact.

Usage

ctutil -compact file_name [-purgedups] [-delidx]

where:

• file_name - File name without extension
• -purgedups - Purge duplicate records from data file
• -delidx - Force the deletion of the index file before rebuilding
