c-treeDB operations on a legacy file may fail with error 4014 (Unknown field name) where it is not clear what the problem is. A new error code was added for the case when an absolute byte offset cannot be calculated for a legacy segment mode:
CTDBRET_INVLEGACYSEGMENT, error 4146: Unable to compute legacy segment offset.
