When !RECOVER_MEMLOG is present (where n is a number of transaction logs), ctrdmp reads up to that many transaction logs into a memory buffer and uses the memory buffer to read transaction log entries. This can speed up dynamic dump restore recovery in cases in which the dump backup includes many transaction logs.
